Popular shackle length with extra locking options provided by the included 4 foot fully coated, braided steel cable.Keep your bike safe while visiting theft-heavy neighborhoods with the OnGuard Bulldog DT U-lock, which comes with an extra security cable. The Bulldog DT offers a 13mm hardened steel shackle that provides maximum cut resistance, along with an X2 double-bolt locking mechanism that locks to two sides of the bar, providing added strength and high pull resistance. The pick-, pull-, and drill-resistant M-Cylinder delivers even more protection, with a BumpBlok mechanism that renders bump keys useless. Similar to the tumbler systems found on high-end European autos, the M-Cylinder has more than 100,000 possible key combinations. These tumblers won't turn unless the key is properly inserted, protecting both the key and tumbler from damage due to misuse. The lock mechanism is also completely encased in ultra-hardened steel to resist drilling, picking, or pulling, while an integrated dust cover protects the internals from moisture and debris.
As a bonus, the Bulldog DT includes a heavy-duty, extra-flexible 10mm steel cable, letting you double your protection or lock up another bike on the same rack. Other features include an all-tube, quick-release, multi-position mounting bracket, protective coatings on the cross bar and shackle, and a tough vinyl cable cover. The Bulldog DT comes with five laser-cut keys, one of which has an LED micro-light to help you open the lock after dark. This lock is a great all purpose lock. If I'm going to be away from my bike for a while (live in Los Angeles) I bring the heavy Ulock and connect with the cable. The Ulock, cable combo is less appealing to thiefs when my bike is sitting next to other bikes with less durable locks. For "ins and outs", i only bring the cable and use a small lock (not included) to connect the cable with an object.Customer Review: Safe and Effective Lock

This lock is very dependable. It works well, but beware, it is a tad heavy. I would reccomend carrying it in a bag. I did not use the attachment for the bike, as I can see this lock is too heavy and would break it. I rarely use both pieces together except high bike theft areas. Great lock. Good size lock fitting the frame and rear wheel - no forcing it to fit or worrying aboutscratching the frame.
Very sturdy lock - with the cable to tie the front wheel provides piece of mind especially since the front
wheel has quick release locks. I would recommend this lock.

Does the job and does it well!! It is a lock where it comes down to if they get through it they can keep the bike. But it would take a tank to get this lock undone. I recommend this to anyone and everyone needing a lock. The great thing about it is that it's cheap and really effective.Customer Review: Like it

I saw the comments about keys sticking but my key turns like a hot knife in butter. Seriously, it's very smooth. The cable that comes with the lock is useful if you want to lock up one of the wheels. I don't think much of the mounting bracket but I carry my lock in a messenger bag.
