This scale is very accurate. It's important to read the instructions--it will pay off to do so--but once you've read the directions, it's very easy to use. It's lightweight. The functions help you monitor your body composition and make adjustments in your diet to increase muscle mass and decrease body fat by monitoring your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and helps you determine the number of calories your body requires to maintain a healthy weight. The first thing I noticed was the weight and durability of this unit. It is just over 6lbs, and feels very solid. The setup was very easy and the explanation in the manual of what each different measurement meant and where different age ranges should be was very helpful. I took the advice of the other reviewer on here and made a spreadsheet in excel to track my results. Between the 516 and the 514 the only difference that I can find is the memory in the unit, 180 days vs 90, but with such a small price difference the 516 is worth it.Customer Review: Exactly as advertised

For all the people who said this item was inacurate. I totally disagree. I have used it now for about a month and have crossrefernced data through other sources for acurracy. It checks out. Those people who don't buy the age readout need to realize that this product is sold worldwide and compared to other areas the U.S. is generally overwieght thus the age readout will seem high. BMI and other data I believe to be right on. TI think this item is a very good value.Customer Review: It's a great Scale!!!

I love this scale, becuase it's accurate. I found it very easy to program. The Fat percentage, I know it's incorrect, but they do mention it in the instructions manual, that I would be a bit off. But the important thing, is that it gives you a place to start monitoring all those areas. Lets face it, there's no scale that can give you 100% reading in all these areas. I bought this item. Because I couldn't find other maker "Motex"
But I have 100% satisfaction of the measurment.
Nomally, I intent to excercise every day for reduce the size instead of the diet pills. When I know well about my body measurement, I'm inspired much to work hard.
The price is very good and I'm so appreciate to send me until dry cells.
