My husband thought it was a dumb idea when I purchased 2 of New Wave Enviro water bottles. I explained (very patiently) that plastic & aluminum were not good for your health & that the stainless steel bottle was best for the environment and for our health. We have a faucet water filter so taking water along whether it's to work or on an outing saves money as well. NOW, he takes his New Wave Enviro bottle to work every day and has conceeded that once again, the wife knows best. "It was a really good idea" was finally heard from his mouth. I had been shopping for stainless steel water bottles for quite awhile but was put off by the high prices, this was a great deal and I'm very pleased with them. This was the most reasonable price I found and the bottle is of good quality. Customer Review: Love it

At first it was awkward but now it is a part of my life. In the car, at work and at home. I bought one for each of my sister and her girls but have not heard any feedback. god i wish i had read some reviews before i bought this. i received it two days ago, filled it up today, then found it had leaked through the bottom and soaked my beside table. COMPLETE DISASTER. AVOID AVOID AVOID. complete waste of money.Customer Review: peeling paint

Looks like other people have experienced the same thing - the color started to peel, reducing this very nice looking bottle to cheap junk. I switched to a flip top Nalgene that I bought at the grocery store and am very happy with that. I would not recommend this product for all the reasons that others have listed: cheap cap, peeling finish. Unfortunately at the time I bought mine there weren't this many reviews warning me about what I would get. Oh well.Customer Review: Good bottle
