This is a really nice water bottle.
Let me dismiss a few rumors that I read on the review of this bottle.
There is no weird taste that comes from the stainless steal. Just follow the instructions and fill the water bottle with distilled white vinegar and water solution, I did a one to one solution. Fill the bottle all the way up, screw on the cap (yes some liquid will pour our) wait 30 minutes or so, empty the bottle and rinse with water.
The screw on lid is steel on steel. I did not notice any unusual sound or loud ness when i screwed the lid on or off.
A nice option would be to have some sort of insulated blanket to put the bottle in.

i was very pleased to find a decent sized stainless steel water bottle and the big mouth means you can drink easily, without puckering and sucking. it's great because i add protein powders and liquids to my water and there is no residual odor. i've researched the whole water safety thing in regards to the plastic bottles leeching chemicals into the water and am happy to no longer worry about that! also, avoiding our contribution to the waste problem of plastic bottles makes me feel good about using it. i bought them for my husband and i and now my kids and grandkids have them too. they're great!Customer Review: A great way to drink H2O

After replacing 4 or 5 plastic bottles I was determined never to by another plastic bottle, but aluminum bottles only come in small sizes and I wanted at least a 1 liter size. Much to my surprise I found this great stainless steel bottle that has no internal coating and is food grade stainless and is over 1 liter in size.I must say I love this bottle even though it is just a container for water it is a joy to use, it has a wide mouth so it's like drinking from a cup. First off always get the stainless steel not plastic. And make sure you get the steel threaded cap not plastic threads. The large style threads like this bottle has. DO NOT get the diff. color bottles or color will peel off. Stick with the silver SS only if you want it to look new years from now. That's about it. I love these SS bottles like this. Water always taste great even if it has been in bottle for weeks. I could never say that with plastic bottles I've tried. This is the best bottle that I could anywhere. All metal touching the water with only a small possibility of it touching the silicon seal. Does not get the mold smell very quickly for some reason, which is an obvious plus.
I really wish that a company would make bottles larger than 40 ounces. I have to take three of these to work each day, or pack a gallon glass bottle which can get pretty heavy. I know that this is a bit much for most people, but I know that there would be a decent market for 64oz bottles.
