I purchased this product a few days ago because most times when I shower, my skin is so itchy afterwards. I figured a shower filter may help. I purchased it at my local health food store and installed it the same day. When I showered that night, I thought that the water felt softer and thought that I was imagining things. As someone who suffers from very dry skin and has to slather body cream on afterwards, I was pleasantly surprised after my shower. I thought that it was my imagination that my skin felt more moisturized and best of all, I wasn't itching!!! I waited for 2 more showers prior to writing this review just to be sure. The enviro shower filter does work!! My husband even noticed a difference too. A product that finally lives up to its claims. I was very impressed with this filter. I live in Memphis, and this time of year is very cold. My skin gets more dry, and my back itches the first part of the morning. I did some research and learned chlorine dries out your skin. I also found out chlorine is an actual poison that was used in the first World War, but now is added to water in small amounts to kill micro organisms. Weird.. So, might as well remove it from the water! It installed easy, and you immediately notice no chlorine smell on your skin. It's like showering in hot rain! Your skin is softer afterwards, soap lathers up easier, your hair is thicker and styles easier when you dry off, it's just win-win. I'm adding another one to my shower in our lakehouse too, and I'll tell friends to get it. $37 isn't bad at all for this. A+Customer Review: Great filter!

I have used this filter for over FOUR years now, and I love it! The cholrine smell disappears immediately. I noticed a tangible difference in my skin and hair within a month; especially my hair.
You really do only need to replace the filter every year, and I only shower; no tub). I also had no problem connecting my shower massage hand-held to the filter. The filter replacement is easy: unscrew, drop and load, aand screw closed. No tools needed for anything. I have learned that it is best to run the shower with HOT water for 1-2 minutes before the first use after replacing the cartridge to clean the crystals of any dust and such. It is also an excellent time to clean the inside of the shower case before you drop the new filter in. I hope this helps you in your decision. :-)

I moved to an area in Tennessee where the chlorine content of the water has been increased due to continued construction. After two weeks of showering and shaving in the water I had dry and irritated eyes and skin. The smell of the water is very reminiscent of being in a pool! After installing the Enviro Filter I would say the smell has subsided for the most part and the quality of my skin, eyes, and hair have increased by about 75%. Considering the low price and that the replacement filters last a year and are pretty cheap - I would recommend this filter to anyone with a similar chlorine issue.Customer Review: Shower Filter

I needed a Shower Filtration System as my Skin is very Dry and Ichy.
After searching Amazon.com and reading the details of each Product carefully I saw this Product at a Great Price
which I bought.
The Product arrived quickly and after reading the instructions it was easy to install quickly.
I noticed the very first time I used it how great the water through the filter felt on me and afterwards how great my skin felt.
I'm very Glad I Purchased this New Wave Enviro Shower Filter and reccommend it to anyone with Dry Ichy Skin.
