i did a lot of searching before purchasing this unit. after comparing prices and features, i chose this piece, and i am glad i did. it has simple, easy to use features, and works wonderfully in the dark. i am not a star gazer per se' but i do enjoying spotting animals and such at night. this unit is awesome. i gave it 4 stars only because i always leave room for improvement, although at this time, i cant find anything that needs reworked on this.
