I drink a lot of water and was previously buying bottled water, refilling the bottles for a couple of days and then discarding them - wasteful but not as bad as some are. I know it's kind of ridiculous, but I love the opening size of disposable bottles and also the fact that the water has no strange tastes. I bought a Nalgene OTG and have not opened a disposable bottle of water since. The drinking opening is very close to the size of a disposable water bottle and the water tastes like water, not plastic.

Most of my water drinking happens around the house, on the treadmill, and in the car, so there is not much risk of spillage in a bag or whatever. I guess when I go out on a photography shoot or to a sporting event, I won't throw this bottle in my bag (especially not my camera bag), but it serves my most frequent water-drinking needs. I am very happy with it.

I also want to note that the Nalgene company mentions clearly on its website that this bottle is not leakproof. Because of this, I have not tested whether it will leak. I give it five stars because they admit it's not leakproof.
