Customer Review: Moultrie Trail Cam, good for the money
Sport shop rating: 4 Stars

This trail cam pretty much lives up to the expectation I had before buying it. The flash is a visible flash and therefore the critters will see it when it goes off. You get several groups of three pictures with a deer in the first picture and then nothing in the next two, however the day pictures work much better. Based on me walking in front of the camera at night and observing the flashes there does seem to be a few second delay before the camera "wakes up" and starts taking pictures. The photo quality is pretty good. The battery life seems to be good so far. I have had it out non-stop for a few weeks now and it still has around 70% of the battery life remaining. I got an additional SD card and that works out well so you can just go to the camera and swith out the cards. My main purpose was to verify time and presence of deer at several spots on my property and this is doing exactly what I wanted.

A great game camera for the money. Easy to setup and use. The batteries seem to last forever, unlike my previous cams. The picture quality is good without many false triggers, and the video's are great, but only 9 seconds long. The delay seems a little long at times, but maybe it was the way the subject approached the cam. The main negative is the mounting straps, they are cheap, and don't return to their original size after use. I carry extra bungee cords which are cheap to buy. We are using 2 of these now, and the white flash seems to have no effect on the animals .

Customer Review: GREAT TO START ON
Sport shop rating: 4 Stars

This is a GREAT camera to start the novice trail cam enthusiast on. I am a beginner, and it's so simple to set up, took me less than 15 minutes to program it. Another great feature is the laser aim and heat sensor it has to tell you if your camera is set up correctly, great for the beginning trail cam user. The biggest thing you should know, is that the trigger speed isn't the fastest, so you have to point it down the trail to get pictures.
Good luck with the camera!

I am pleased with the service and the quality of the product.
Camera works as advertised. I would prefer that the battery life would be longer than it is. I understood I could attach a longer life battery system to it but I see this is not possible. My mistake! I will work with what I have. I assemble the camera 2 1/2 hours from where I live so it is an inconvenience but I will cope.

Customer Review: Good value for the money!!!
Sport shop rating: 4 Stars

It works perfect. Pics are very good. Somthing i didn't consider prior. View pics right there and then. If you're going to buy a few trail cam's, perhaps to save money just buy one of those screen viewers, otherwise just spend the money on a built in viewer. A buddy uses a digital camera that he can connect it to. But nothing of mine has a rca connection. Good hunting!
