Let me begin by saying that I had at one time encountered every single problem listed in these reviews with old Mosin stripper clips. They didn't work, or if they did they didn't work right. They cut my fingers till they bled! I did a little research and found out that it wasn't the clips, but rather my technique that was off. I found several videos on youtube that were fantastic and before long I made myself an expert. Recently I decided the few old mil-surp clips I had laying around just weren't enough, so I went searching.
I found a few products that were a bit cheaper, but let me tell you, they were just not the same! THESE STRIPPER CLIPS ARE OUTSTANDING!!! I found and ordered a few of these clips from Amazon and thought nothing of it till they arrived (Earlier than expected which is always a plus!). When I opened the package I was a bit skeptical, after all, my other clips are old and worn (tried and true) looking while these ones are brand spankin' new. I patiently loaded five rounds into the first clip, set it in my rifle and WHAM! they slid on in smoother than any I have ever used. I was naturally thrilled by this and came straight here (stopping only to load up the rest of the clips with a beaming grin on my face) to write this review, my first for Amazon though I have shopped here for years.
Please folks, I understand the frustrations some of these suckers can give you, like I said, my fingers freaking bled. Do yourselves a favor and check out a video or two on how to use stripper clips to avoid any problems, and then ORDER THESE ONES! TWO THUMBS WAY UP ladies and gents. I won't buy stripper clips other than these ever again!
