I bought this skateboard for my daughter's 10th birthday. I don't know a lot about skateboards but this has worked out perfectly for her. She is a beginning boarder and had no experience even standing on a board before. She went from sitting on it to, to standing, to doing turning movements in a very short time. I feel the board is well suited for her and a very happy with this purchase.
