Customer Review: great scooter but beware of weight limit
Sport shop rating: 2 Stars

This is a great scooter for kids. But I question the engineering behind the device. The limit says 60 pounds and even that is questionable. The wheels bow out even at 30 pounds. My mother scantily over 120 pounds tried to stand on it and snapped the front wheel off. Parents beware! I liked it so much I fixed the wheel with some carbon fiber cloth and epoxy. But then I noticed that the factory over tightened the wheels and bearings. The allen wrench they provided stripped the heads off the bolts and they still wouldn't move. So great concept, questionable engineering and quality control. Considering the price premium for the scooter you would figure these problems would have been considered. I will say my 2 year old enjoys it immensely and really its not about my happiness but hers. I guess I'll have to buy another one once the wheel is completely worn out.
