I have carried this knife for 3 years now as my primary hiking knife. It goes with me when I leave the truck. I don't know much about knives but I do know about having to use a knife and this is the one you want in you hand. -or one like it. When ever you can use non lethal force -punching then I see that as a huge advantage. Like a camp dog attacking you, if you kill a dog it will ruin your weekend or not depending on your personality. But I can punch the crap out of a dog with these metal finger rings and it will not want to mess with me afterward. Easier said then done but not the point. This knife is solid very solid. I read the reviews of cheap handles but mine isn't, all I can say.

Equipped with a 4 7/8" blade constructed from stainless steel with a heavy tanto point. The aluminum handle offers black rubber grip and sturdy finger guard. Includes nylon sheath. 9 1/4" overallEquipped with a 4-7/8-inch stainless-steel blade with a heavy tanto point, the Military Warrior Tanto stealth trench knife pays tribute to the knuckle knives of the World War I era. Knuckle knives were originally designed for hand-to-hand combat, and this knife includes the same four knuckle slots arrayed underneath the aluminum handle and black rubber grip. In addition, the knife includes a nylon sheath for storage. The knife measures 9-1/4 inches overall.
