Description of Mercury 240 Roll Up PVC Inflatable Boat, 7 Feet 10 Inch (2009 Model)

The 240 Roll Up PVC boat has two separate internal air chambers on either side and slat floor boards for great stability. With a marine grade plywood bench seat, the boat comes with a set of two-piece, break down aluminum oars with large blades for strong rowing. The boat can also be outfitted with up to a five-horsepower outboard motor.

Built for long-lasting durability and great performance, the boat has Quick-Lift end cones that offer 50 percent quicker planing as well as better weight distribution on the water. The boat is constructed with heavy-duty Decitex fabric with a tight-weave non-stretch polyester core and the transom is ABS-coated for protection from water infiltration and dings from regular rigging. The boat is equipped with all stainless steel folding oarlocks, towing rings, and hardware for corrosion resistance in salt water. The boat is also equipped with elastic oar retaining straps and a one-way drain valve with plug.
