I bought this over a month ago and love it! I am impressed with the quality of the materials and the velcro. The McDavid fits very well. It offers the support I was looking for and neoprene for heat retention. I have not had any problems with the velcro or fraying of the neoprene material.
Last spring I bought Valeo Neoprene Waist Trimmer (Item model number: VA4498BK) and had problems with it. The materials were cheap and frayed. The velcro ended up ripping off. Stay away from the Valeo!
The only negative is that I bought the McDavid at $10.99 in Dec 09 and it is currently $16.99

I have bought a couple of waist trimmers in the past. Never happy with any of them.
On the contrary, this one is very nice. It's supple, wide, comfortable to wear. Doesn't fold over.
I like it. A very good price, too. Have I lost weight using this? I don't know. I exercised a couple of times wearing this belt. I did see a lot of sweat on the inside of the belt but that doesn't tell me much as I do sweat a lot when I do intense exercise (running on treadmill) for 30 minutes at a time.
If nothing else, this belt will help you keep up the good posture even if temporarily. I'd recommend it.

My wife uses this every day for her gym workouts. It fits well, and is not obtrusive in the gym.
This is well made and easy to take on and off. It is less bulky than other waist trimmers. For the price on Amazon it can't be beat.
However this is not a magic device to reduce your waist. Yes, it has certainly assisted my wife in doing so--but in conjunction with a careful diet and an exercise program. Like all waist trimmers, it will appear right after exercise to have reduced your waist because of the loss of fluids, but that appearance will not last without attention to diet and exercise.

First thing is i was sceptical about buying this product as it seemed only for men...but it had the best reviews..so took my chance and ordered it.
Opted for 2 day shipping but it arrived the very next day..so thrilled was abt it..and the belt just fit me fine and after the work out definetely there was heavy sweating around the mid section..just hope that transaltes to weight loss soon...
My only complaint is when i removed the belt there were some black fibers stuck to my body ..they could be easily wiped off...Since i was otherwise thrilled with the product didn't feel like lessening a star

I have been walking every weekday for 1/2 an hour at 2.5 miles per hour on our treadmill for 2 months and I saw very little improvement. After 2 weeks of having this belt around my waist I have lost some weight but even better yet my waist is getting smaller and more firm. I noticed the sweat around my waist after 15 min of walking. I walk for 1 hour on weekends or wear this while taking the dogs for there long walks. I am now on the 3rd hole in my belt. It apears to be well made with a large velcro pad to grip the belt with. I have not tried to wash it yet.
