I bought this small hand truck for carrying an easel and paints through the streets of Boston. Usually my gear weighs about 40 pounds. For my purposes, it strikes the right balance between weight, durability, cost and size. Despite what I read on other Amazon reviews, the handle does "lock" in the extended position. I am able to push the loaded hand truck in front of me or drag it behind, depending on the circumstance. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and I'm impressed that this product can be made so well for such a modest price.Customer Review: Love My Magna Cart

I'm a photographer and use this cart to haul all my gear when I'm traveling. It holds my camera case very nicely and securely with a bungee cord. I've rolled this cart all around town, on broken sidewalks, dirt, cobblestones, etc. and it has kept my gear safe and secure. The handle locks at a couple of different heights and is very convenient for pulling along crowded city streets. When it's time to pack up and head home, the cart folds up easily and takes up very little room in the trunk of my car. I definitely recommend this cart.Customer Review: Great little cart!

I bought the Magna Cart for my 87 year old mother for Christmas. She's a very young 87 and lives alone in her own home. She had mentioned that she wished she had a wagon or cart of some sort to bring out her recycle box on trash day because it was too hard to lift. I thought maybe a hand truck would work but on a smaller scale. Then I found the Magna cart! It is pretty sturdy and it's easy to open just by squeezing the handles together and pulling and then folds flat again for storage. What an excellent product!Customer Review: Amazing!

I figured that I would be pleased with my purchase of this small hand truck, but it exceeded my expectations. It's well-built, rolls easily, a comfortable gripper handle, and folds down to practically NOTHING (which is for me its strongest asset). I use it to move medium-sized packages from my home to my studio (but I would trust it to move larger ones), and it's small enough to store inside my trunk so it's always there, ready to go whenever I need it. I bought this hand truck to transport my Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12 guitar amp. It works great and handles the load very well. No more back pain! I was impressed by the quality and how sturdy this item is despite it's light weight. It is also very portable, I like the fact that the handle is adjustable and that the wheels fold in for easy storage. The price and quality of this hand truck can't be beat, worth every penny! My only suggestion is to use a bungee strap or something similar to secure heavy loads.
