I used it for a trip recently, as I didn't want to check a bag and an injury prevents my using my left arm to lift. The cart was really TOO sturdy and heavy to be sensible for travel. It is not light, and it takes a bit of room in the overhead bin, although it did fit, you don't want to struggle in a crowded plane.
It's perfect for moving things around and I will definitely be using it for that in the future. It is amazing that something that collapses and folds up so easily is made with the apparent quality and sturdiness that it is. Great product, but ideal for moving or transferring heavy things around the house, not so much for traveling.

I has purchased this hand truck for my ice chest, and I have used this a few times and am very pleased with the quality and the workmanship of the cart. The cart is extremely light weight and the quality of material used is really good for the price paid. And it does feel quite rugged.
And another good feature is that the cart has telescoping handle, that slides down, and the flat portion of the cart folds up against the handle, while the wheels also fold up giving it a very small profile that can fit in verys tight spaces. The cart comes with two bungee cords as well, and the cart has notches at several places for the bungee cord hooks to lock in.

I have read the reviews in amazon.com and I have been wanting it for quite a while. When I saw it in one of those club store, I had to have it. I haven't tried very heavy load yet. I believe 150 lbs capacity seems realistic. Folding, unfolding can't be any simpler and easier. One thing I noticed, when I put a low profile heavy object, in this case 5 gallon water jug, I have to lean the handle very low or the weight of the load won't be directly on the wheel. Some kind of platform may work like a empty crate or box, but I haven't tried it yet. If you already have cargo tall enough like in the photo shown, it'll balance itself much easier.Customer Review: Great for use with car seat

I bought this to use with my son's car seat - a cosco scenera - instead of paying the $80 for the gogokidz product which is used in the same way. I attached the car seat to the hand cart using the tether strap that is part of the car seat. The base of the hand truck is not large enough for all of the car seat base to be in contact with it, but as long as the car seat was attached firmly it was safe and secure. No, this hand truck was not designed to carry a car seat, but if you attach the car seat correctly it works just as well. The hand truck was easy to transport and store when not in use and easy to manuever while it was in use.Customer Review: Excellent Product

I've used mine extensively for carrying camera and lighting equipment. If you buy something similar from a photography retailer, you'll pay an arm and a leg. For $30 you just can't beat this hand truck. It's a great tool to have when you're photographing a trade show and need to carry a couple pelican cases of gear across vast expanses of a convention center. When folded, it takes up such a small amount of space that I just leave it in the car. This ability to keep it with me has saved my bacon (and my back) on many occasions when I suddenly found myself needing to carry a large item a long distance. Would not hesitate to buy again.
