I'm a Karaoke DJ as a hobby, working three nights a week. I have a ton of gear: a Mackie 808S amp/mixer, three JBL loudspeakers, folding speaker stands, a Dell 20" display and collapsible stand, folding table and chairs, laptop bag, and a large plastic box filled to the brim with songbooks, cables, and power supplies--and all this stuff has to be crammed into the cargo area of a Volkswagen Passat GLX. Naturally, I don't have room for a full-sized, bulky, heavy, awkward hand truck.
This magnificent little gadget does the trick. Not only does it handle all my heavy gear with supreme ease, but it folds up small enough to tuck between my loudspeakers and only take up four extra inches of cargo space in the GigMobile. Marvelous!

speaking of the placement of the wheels, which I agree with wholeheartedly, that they're set too far back and so there's no good feel for picking up and lowering the load - rather than being balanced you're putting a lot of effort into picking up and lowering the load smoothly... But even with that caveat, it works very well especially for the price. Great value for such a little truck, and incredibly portable. I purchased this for one end - to move my small wine fridge in my basement. It's full of about 40 bottles of juice and I didn't want to go emptying it out to relocate it. Worked great, collapses very small, extends well, and was surprisingly sturdy, which was my fear, that it would be a little flimsy. But it wasn't.

I was moving and desperately needed a hand cart as I had lots of boxes. This cart is light, compact but very sturdy and unbelievably well priced. I was able to move 3-4 boxes at a time and that makes a huge difference rather than carry one box at a time by hand. Initially when the cart arrived, it kind of looked flimsy and I wasnt sure it'll be able to handle the heavy boxes (books!). But it worked out really well. Its a little bit tricky to tilt the cart with the heavy boxes. But if you put your foot against the wheel and then push the box to tilt it, its easy. I just wish they had made the handle longer. I am 6ft tall and once the cart is tilted I needed to stoop while I pushed it around. Anyways, five stars without a doubt.Customer Review: The Greatest Gadget Since the "Church Key"

I was looking for something to haul boxes, drawers, junk, etc. from room to room at home. I didn't want a full-on hand truck, but I also didn't want some little suitcase trolly. The "Magna Cart Personal Hand Truck" is perfect. It is amazingly well engineered, sturdy and when folded it literally slides between a dresser and the wall. Getting it ready to use takes three seconds, Tops! Breaking it down for storage is equally time consuming. While the wheels are small, they do the job with ease. Folding down the cargo plate automatically extends the wheels. Squeeze the red release bar and pull up to extend the or collapse the handle. On top of all that the price is great for what you get. I ordered this for my son as a way for him to transport his combo tube bass amplifier to and from school. I thought there was no way it would work for the reasonable price it was, but I thought I would give it a try. It's PERFECT! I went to the local hardware store and bought two adjustable straps to strap the amp around the cart and off we go. I was so impressed with it I recommended it to a very large chain music store that they should consider carrying it. If you're a guitarist and have both your guitar and amp to transport, you should also consider it. Do check the weight of your amp. before you buy. Hope this review helps you decide if this cart is for you.
