It's battery powered, with a built-in wal wort charger. The drying cycle is about a minute per ear, and the warm, dry air feels pretty good. The noise from the blower motor is not objectionable. The unit folds up compactly when not in use. A clever device. If you suffer from moist ear canals and the consequences thereof, this is a good investment.
