This towel has saved me again and again with all the traveling I do. I have been on the road throughout India for 13 months. Sometimes I stay in one place, sometimes I move. And this towel can dry itself in 5 minutes or less in the right conditions. I pat myself dry, I wash it about once every 2 weeks, it stays smelling fresh and clean, it wrings out almost all moisture. It's really durable. Same towel, same quality all 13 months, every day it's been used. That's over 400 uses!!! It still has a lot of life left.
And it fits into a fist sized ball. I think mine's the 3' X 1.5' towel. It's all you need!

Our most absorbent ultralight towelBalancing ultralight weight with absorbency, the Ultralite towel is portable enough for just about any journey and is MSR's lightest towel available in full size. It's extremely durable, soaks up to twice its weight in water, wrings out almost completely dry, and is made of a tough polyester/nylon blend that provides maximum durability in a lightweight fabric. it can handle anything from a backcountry swim to a front country shower.
