Work great to help get one as dry as can be with a damp cloth. These are designed to work when wet, or I should say, when wrung out and damp. Well, they will leave your skin a bit damp too. Not as a soft fluffy towel would get you dry-dry. Nor would they keep one as warm as a fluffy towel when getting out of the water. But for camping and saving space, they're great. Only thing is that they make them TOO SMALL!
