Customer Review: Worth the weight

Cons: Not as light as aluminum, no lashing provided, about a quarter inch too short for my very specific needs

Details:
I took this kit on a 3 day hiking / backpacking trip. I'm so glad I went with this over an aluminum kit, the ease of cleanup was well worth the extra weight. I stored my old white gas stove inside of it, but it was about a quarter inch too short to fit well, and I needed an extra lashing or 2 to hold it tight. It will fit perfectly with a fold up propane camping stove, which is a bit more compact. It comes in a mesh drawstring bag, which is nice, but a strap to hold everything together is a bit lighter I think. It doesn't come with the strap, but has the metal loops for it.
I know there's a lot of complaining in this review, but the cook kit still gets 5 stars. I had to really think to come up with any real cons, and some of them are just splitting hairs. Hope this helps!
