Customer Review: The no comparison Rower

I purchased the R100 a few weeks ago after spending many hours researching various rowers and reading all available reviews of all the popular top of the line brands...excluding water rowers. After using it for the first time, I was nothing short of astonished at its performance. I have been working out for more years than I care to mention and have used practically all the equipment in Golds Gym as well as several other gyms. As far as rowers are concerned, nothing, and mean nothing, comes close to this machine. It is extremely well constructed, in fact it's built like the Rock of Gibralta. It's great looking, smooth as silk to use, very very quite (compared to other rowers), has an extemely accurate heart rate monitor (I have two different types and they stay with a heartbeat or so of one another),and was very easy to set up. The programs allow the workout to remain interesting and the adjustable resistance can be made as challenging as you wish. Yes, it'll cost you a few hundred bucks more than the popular gym brands, but belive me, it's worth every cent. If you are an avid exercise enthusiast, and plan to use the machine frequently, take my advise and give this machine a shot... it's worth the investment and you won't be sorry.. by the way, it has a great display. I really can't comment on how well it will "hold up" over time but I expect to use it for many years.
If forced to mention a "negative", I would say the only one I can think of is that the mat that came with the machine is to short to go under all 4 legs... a nit I know, but I did say "if I was forced"...
One more thing, in the interest of "full disclosure", I did come across a few negative reviews concerning the r100 relative to "noise", "inaccurate heart rate readings" etc. I'm at a loss to explain them unless the machine fell of the truck prior to being delivered..
