Customer Review: A MUST HAVE FOR ANY SLATER FAN

This film follows Kelly Slater around the globe on the Fosters ASP World Tour in 2005. What makes this particular year interesting is that he won his first world title since 1998. You see Kelly in action at all of the events and his wins at Cloudbreak, Tahiti, J-Bay, and Trestles. The action and intensity of this film is beyond words. You see Kelly's 2 10 point rides in the final at Teahupoo. His last second win over AI at J Bay and his win at Trestles. The intense rivalry between Slater and Andy Irons is seen up close and personal. There is an incredible tension that you can feel from watching the film. There are behind the scenes interviews with some of the biggest names in the sport. Kelly Slater himself is basically narrating his entire year as well. He gives some incredible insight as to how he felt in the moment and reflects on his world title win. This is as close as Professional Surfing gets. For anyone wanting to know more about the man and what makes his competitive fire burn, this is a must. The soundtrack is excellent and Bonus footage with more interviews.
