Customer Review: not what I was expecting at all?!?!

When I initially read the description of these skates and saw the picture I was EXPECTING to get a pair of PINK size 1.0 ice skates for my daughter. When I look at this picture again as I am writing this review; the skates look very pink to me????

Anyway; the gentleman; I believe his name was Dan sent me an email right away informing me that the skates were not pink and that they were incorrectly labelled as a size 1.0 when in fact they were a size 11.0.

Needless to say I was EXTREMELY UNHAPPY!!!! So after much back and forth banter about what color the skates were, blah,blah,blah I ended up asking for my money to be refunded to me and it was sent back to me post haste.

I have to say in all fairness that Dan was very apologetic and did well with a frustrated customer at the holiday rush season; so I do commend Dan for that!

I did show the picture of the skates in the original advertisement to at least a dozen or so folks and they all concur that these skates definitelly look PINK and not white!

Folks just really need to take better photos and edit their descriptions before posting the ads for the world to see!!

What's done is done...

I was able to at the very last minute locate pink and white figure skates for my daughter and they did in fact make it before Christmas despite the fourteen days of snow we were dealing with in the Puget Sound area!

I am in no way angry or frustrated with Amazon.com or Dan for that matter. At the time it was a nightmare for me but in the end Sadie; my darling seven year old did in fact get her pink and white ice skates with her hot pink skate guards and a pink skate bag to carry them in so...

All is good now...
