These are fantastic. They're very good for safety if it's even a bit dark, since the bike is suddenly easy to see.

They come with batteries, plus an extra set for later, which is a nice touch. I haven't had them long enough to know how long the batteries last, but these are important enough that I'll be happy to buy replacements, when needed.

A warning, though: The Tire Sparx package I bought says "New! Lights Up Even At Slow Speeds!", and I don't see that on the package pictured (although it's otherwise the same). That might be important, since I also bought Tirefly lights, and they never light up while the children are riding their bikes. Perhaps the first generation of these type of lights are only good when one is riding fast. But if you're getting the new Tire Sparx that I have, you'll like them.
