Kowa's BL8J3 binoculars are manufactured with the highest optical technology for the best-quality viewing experience. These binoculars' large, 82-millimeter diameter objective lenses are fully multi-coated to enhance viewing by ensuring a bright and clear visual range, and sharp images. The BL8J3 features high-end Apochromat f5.48, fluorite crystal lenses with an f equal to 450 that eliminate color blur (chromatic aberration) for improved resolution and contrast, and an eyepiece that is designed to provide a wide field of view, with ample angle and a high eye point for easy and less tiring viewing. These binoculars also feature interchangeable 50x and 21x eyepieces (not included), depending upon your needs at the time.

The extremely durable housing of the Kowa BL8J3 is constructed of strong, yet lightweight die-cast aluminum, with a rigid structure that can withstand hard usage over and over again. This housing is also waterproof, and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent the lens from fogging, which allows these binoculars to be used in the rain and other harsh weather conditions.
