I purchased two of these to replace my kids' previous other brand (take a guess which brand?) bottles which I learned had BPA in the liners. These are no frills bottles, no fancy outside, thin but durable steel, and I got the basic one with just the screw on top with no loop or anything. The 12 oz one with no loop top is just perfect for an older (6+) kid who doesn't need a sport top to drink because the opening on this 12 oz one is like a mason jar almost - you just unscrew it and drink right from the bottle.
The size is perfect for a lunchbox, particularly if you are using larger plastic reusable containers for food and things get cramped in the lunch box.
Very basic and serviceable, but gets the job done.
