I like this water bottle. It is a good size for me although I'm disappointed it doesn't fit in the very small cup holder in my car. I also got the sports cap to go on my bottle and I love that. It fits very well and doesn't leak. This bottle is not insulated in any way, but you could easily put it in a cozy if you really wanted. I wanted to get a water bottle that didn't leak toxins into my water. However I would recommend Sigg bottles instead of these. I have two of these bottles and they leak constantly, no matter how much I try to tighten the top. These bottles also make the water taste very metallic. Very undrinkable. I end up bringing the bottle with me, leaking all over my stuff and then not drinking the water because it tastes so bad. Customer Review: Kool Klean Kanteen

I needed a bottle to hold the water I drink as I drive to and from work, as I need to consume 64oz of water each day. The 27oz Klean Kanteen with the metal cap works very well.
There is no metallic taste to the water at all, although when your lips and/or tongue come into contact with the bottle itself you get a metallic taste that either goes away with repeated use, or you get used to it, as it is no longer noticeable with the Klean Kanteen I use.
The bottle is slim enough to fit in the cup holder in my car. I like to place the bottle (full of water) in the freezer about 30 minutes before I leave to chill the water so that it stays cold during the 45 minute commute (I know, I know, why don't I just use ice cubes. I guess because we do not have an automatic ice cube maker, and I also wonder if ice cubes don't tend to taint the water if they have been in the freezer a long time), but the bottle is too tall to stand up in the freezer, so I have to lean it against a bag of frozen peas or lay it down on its side. This is not necessarily a problem, as the metal cap does not leak at all.
For ease of carrying I have attached a carabiner through the loop in the cap. That way I can carry it with one finger since I also tend to have a lunch bag, and car keys in my hand when entering or exiting my car.
