it leaks. the inside of my bag gets wet and it ruins papers and books and is very inconvenient. the little white stopper came out and was lost within a week. i found it (amazing!) and put it back in but it still leaks. it's a waste of money. get the plain flat cap and just unscrew it when you want a drink. i need the sports cap for 'spin' class but i just bring it along and tote the klean kanteen with the flat cap and switch it out for exercise class.
Description of Klean Kanteen Poly Sports Cap
Many accessories are available for Klean Kanteens. All caps and lids are interchangable with all sizes of Klean Kanteens and we only use non-leaching Polypropylene #5 (PP#5) in our caps and lids. Both the loop and flat caps have stainless steel bases to prevent plastic from coming in contact with your beverage.The perfect companion for your Klean Kanteen reusable drink container, the Sports Cap fits the 12, 18, 27, and 40 ounce stainless steel bottles securely. The Sports Cap twists on and off and has a push and release valve, allowing you to drink on the go. Properly closed, the cap is spill resistant. The polypropylene #5 material is soft on the teeth and comfortable to drink from.
