I have had two of these for about three months now and have had NO problems with either. I dishwash them, including the cap, keeping it away from heat coils, and have had no trouble there either. It is easy to fill them completly, eliminating air, so water stays fresh a long time. While seemingly expensive, I have saved the cost, versus bottled several times over already. The SIG may be prettier and I'm not a made in China fan, but this was just what I wanted.Customer Review: clean tasting water!

I bought two of these Klean Kanteens and love them both! I use the one with the sports cap. One of the nicer features of this is the cap also has a lid for it, so the part you drink from isn't exposesd to the elements all the time.
My daughter now easily drinks a full 18 oz. of water during the school day, whereas before she rarely finished the small bottle (6 oz?). She metnioned to me the water tastes better. So there you go!! Easy to clean, too.

I wated to give practical gifts that had meaning to the environment. I chose the Kleen Kanteen Statinless Steel Water Bottle after looking at other products because of the size and cap offered at a competitive price. I bought the kanteens for my husband who is a cyclist. He wanted an alternative to the plastic cycling bottles. He was disappointed with the effort it took to get a small quantity of liquid out of the kanteen. He drinks as he pedals and needs a quick gulp. So I use them now. I cycle and drink intermitently from the cap or unscrew the top. I find the 27oz fits perfectly in my bottle cages on the bike. Clean-up is easy, rinse and dry.Customer Review: a greener way to go

I felt guilty using 'bought' water every week at exercise class, but it took me a while to find a stainless bottle with a sport top (for some reason the tops were always sold out). I love this one, and it holds just enough water to get me through a class. However...it's a very tight fit in many of the cages on the bikes at spinning class, and difficult to get in and out (so it now straddles the handlebars, on top of my towel).
