I should have read the description better, but I just assumed all bikes have a braking system of some sort. If this one has brakes, I can't find them. The bike is cute and my 20 mo daughter likes pushing herself around on it (without using the pedals). It was horrible to put together, lots of screws and nuts of varying sizes as well as fairly cryptic instructions. I ended up with 4 extra screws but the bike seems to be solidly built nonetheless.
Because of the missing brakes I am thinking I should have just paid the extra and gotten a Kettler "plus" instead.
