Customer Review: Great for swapping between bicycles

We bought this bicycle carrier because our son outgrew the one that went on the handlebars. It was easy to install, is easy to swap between bicycles. The only issue I really have is that the feet of the carrier are pretty far forward, and I keep hitting my heels on my son's feet. To combat this, you have to peddle with the middle of your feet, instead of the balls of your feet. Much more of a workout that way.

The Kettler Flipper/Teddy child seat adapter allows a Kettler Child bicycle seat to be mounted on multiple bicycles. The adapter can be positioned at various heights and angles, allowing a true customized fit. No luggage rack necessary to attach child bicycle seat with this adapter. Measures 3" x 3" x 4.5".Not every bike can accommodate the Kettler Flipper or Teddy child seat by itself, which is where this seat adapter comes into play. The adapter, which fits on virtually any type of bicycle, lets you enjoy the full benefits of either child seat without buying a whole new bike. The adapter works simply: just use one of the included shims to create a custom fit on your frame, then mount the Flipper or Teddy on top. Thanks to the bracket cutouts, derailer cables can pass through uninhibited. Plus, the adapter doesn't require any additional tools, as all the required accessories are included.
