My boys LOVE all types of construction and farm toys. This one is the best! They can sit on it and dig, dig, dig! It is a little pricey, but well constructed and extremely worth the price! A MUST! We have had this toy for 8 months, and if my 3 boys can't break it, that in itself says quite a lot!Customer Review: CAT fan

My boy received this 3 years ago when he was 1 1/2 years old. He loved to sit on it in the house for the first year and turn around on it. After the first year, we moved it outdoors to the big sandbox. It has sat in the sandbox ever since.
My boy is now 4. He loves to go outside and "work" on his excavator. He can do everything really well now. He loves how it looks like the "real" thing. It has held up really great and has not faded or rusted. Some of the stickers are peeling off. It has sat for 2 years in all sorts of weather, including the scorching 110 degrees of summer and the freezing nights of winter.
My only complaints are that one of the bults in the "arm" of the excavator routinely comes undone and falls off. Also, it has been known to tip over a few times when my boy is digging while turned to the side position of the track base. It would probably be better if it was on a solid flat surface, but then it wouldn't be digging in the sand, right?
After 3 years, this excavator is still hard on the job and going strong!

Front bucket/scoop should be made of a more heavy duty plastic (if not metal) but overall a really cool product ! If you want to wow a little boy that loves construction vehicles ,this is the toy for him !! One caveat, the rear excavator is a little tricky for little ones to move and lock into position;adult supervision is recommended for this.
