I was looking for a knife I could carry every day. I needed a knife that was small enough to keep hidden--I didn't want a big clip hanging out of my pocket for everyone to see. I purchased the chive and have been very pleased. The blade is sharp. It has a cool flick open type of action that makes it easy to open with one hand. It also has a small lock that keeps the blade from opening when you don't want it to. I wear it in my waist band and the clip is usually hidden by my belt. I take it to work, school, jogging, camping, everywhere and it is always handy and ready for use. If you are considering a purchase, go ahead and get it. I had it out of the box maybe a minute, and while chatting and trying to close this knife I grazed the inside of my index finger knuckle.
I thought the blood would never clot.
It's a handy little pocket knife; I bought a Leek version too that I immediately dropped on a concrete floor and broke just the very tip of it.
I find this all very comical now, so I share it with you. A great knife at a great price.

This knife is a little gem. Looks great with a high build quality. Finish is nice and the the mechanics of it are great. This is also one of the sharpest knives I have ever gotten, that includes high end cutlery(Shun by Kershaw/Ken Onion as well). You could remove your appendix with this knife! I bought this for my hubby as a Christmas gift and he loves it. He was already a Kershaw fan and owns several of their models. I have used this myself and it is super sharp, so be careful! The speed open works smoothly and there is a safety mechanism to keep the blade from accidentally opening. Nice and light and feels good in the hand for small jobs.Customer Review: Great Item

This knife was just as described. I used to be able to purchase it at a local store, but they stopped carrying it. I was so happy when I found it on Amazon. I buy one for my husband every year at Christmas. Grateful to be able to find the things I need at Amazon!
