Easily completed assembly, pleased with workmanship and detail, arrived in box, finish intact, all parts present.
Left off the waterbottles, and only issue is that I'm unable to loft the leg over the second set of handle bars, end up lying bike on side partly, straddling, then standing bike up. Works as described, gears fine with a short learning curve. Recommend reading about tandem cycling to be clear on difference in balance, brakes, and turning radius prior to trial. Trialed solo, and need extra power to manage except on flat areas.
Would recommend for all but novices.

I got this bike for my 8 year old daughter and I so that we could do some longer rides together than she is able to do on her solo bike. We have had such amazing adventures on this! It has held up through storms, dirt trails, pavement, potholes, and more. We just did a 400 mile tour on it and we had no real problem, just got a tune-up on brakes/gears half way through as we had lots of grit in the bike from use. Our bike has held up better on long rides than other folks we have been with who were riding much more expensive bells and whistles bikes. They had flats and broken bits while we kept going!Customer Review: Four thumbs up

It took about 45 minutes to assemble. You need to have allen wrenches that were not included with the bike. It's very stable. I am 6'2" and 200 pounds and I fit just fine. If you have very short legs, you will have trouble with the front position.
We have biked all over town. It's lots of fun. It's easy to ride. I need stronger legs to go up steep hills, because it's a little heavy. I shopped for a long time before picking this bike. It's a very good ride. It's lot's of fun. The price is unbeatable. I give this four thumbs up. (Two for each rider.)

I have owned MANY expensive bikes. What could I expect for a mear $254? I was amazed at the quality of the frame welding... yes it is only steel and yes it is a human doing the welding, but the fit and finish was way above expectation! This is a high five for a GREAT entry level bike into tandem fighting ( I ride with my spouse). This bike will serve us well until we are ready to drop the dough for a "expensive" bike... but I am unwilling to wear the multicolored, skintight, look-at-me suits. This bike is fantastic. I was not comfortable letting my 8 year old daughter ride a bike on the road. This bike solves the problem. It is a safe and fun way to ride and be safe. We ride to the bus stop every morning and it is easy for me to ride back home. My husband loves taking her riding now because the seats are comfortable enough for long rides.
