Customer Review: an ok pool float

I had this for less than one season before the seams came undone and the float tube pushed out of the hammock. When not in use I kept it out of the sun in a shed, so sun degradation should not be a factor. It was comfortable for me (I am 5'3", 135 lbs) but taller, heavier people were not as comfortable. I no longer own this since the seams burst.

This Water Hammock by Kelsyus is a Deluxe size floating hammock that will provide hours of relaxation in the pool or the lake. Made of durable nylon, it features a pillow for even more comfort. The inner bed is made of soft and flexible polyester. The pillow and the sidings are filled with air and feature vibrant blue tones. The idea is simple but innovative: the inflatable perimeter suspends you in the water, while the mesh inner oval allows your weight to descend into the water, just enough to keep you cool. An integrated half-moon pillow gently cradles your neck and head for hours of pool relaxation. This deluxe version also includes a carrying bag that has compartments for sunscreen, book, cell phone, keys, and other basic necessities of a lazy afternoon. But the best feature is that there is no blowing up required. With its new, patented Jet Valve, the hammock inflates in seconds, and when you're ready to leave, the floating lounger quickly deflates and packs nicely into a compact, lightweight disk with side handles for easy carry. The float's fabric and trim is 100% nylon, and the frame is 50% steel and 50% PVC. Available in a royal blue and white tropical pattern on the inner mesh material and pillow.
