Sometimes you just order something without a lot of expectations, and sometimes you're blown away because you got a great deal. The cards come in a nice black locking case (non-transparent). The lid locks down because of indentations on the lid, you can hold the lid itself and shake the heck out of it, and it never shakes loose. The case is split into two sides, so you don't need a tray to hold two decks for rotating deals. I ordered two decks, half of them came with a nice poker guide half didn't. The cards are fully plastic, and clean easily. They shuffle nicely, and feel like regular paper cards for the most part. Now you'd expect to get that quality for the price of the deck itself, and you get it.
But what's more amazing is the Free cut cards and buttons. You might expect paper or cheap plastic buttons. Far from it. The dealer and bounty buttons are huge (about the size of a fifty cent piece), and heavy (they feel like glass or marble). They probably weight slightly less than or equal to a 50 cent piece. The smaller buttons shown (Big Blind, Little Blind, Reserved, and Kill) are each slightly larger than a quarter, and while they are plastic, they feel like good quality plastic poker chips.
The Cut Cards are used to hide the bottom card in a deck so you can cut it without revealing the bottom card. Lots of poker nutz insist on it. They are made of sturdy plastic light will not go through. One side is smooth, the other is slightly rough to grab against the cards so it isn't slippery. They are just as wide as the playing cards, and only slightly shorter (like 1/16th of an inch) than the cards. Makes finding it easy inside a stacked deck.
Hands down, this is the best Texas Hold-Em style deck I have ever seen, and far surpassed my expectations. I can't wait to show them off at my next game.

This set of Kem 100% plastic playing cards is wide poker size (2.5" x 3.5"). It is also standard Indexed, which refers to the numbers in the corners (small size in the corners).
