I purchased this knife and have had it for over a year and probably two years. It isn't the sharpest knife because of such a wide piece of metal but it can stab through anything. I personally use it to shotgun beers and it is the best knife in the world in this respect. It is also a great watermelon knife when in need of any knife that is just big. It's serrations aren't ridiculously sharp like some knifes I have owned, but this one has a blood grove so if you stab something it bleeds. It is an awesome knife! A+++
Description of KABAR Short Black Serrated Edge Knife
The KABAR Short Black Serrated Edge Knife is a practically sized fixed blade knife that can be used for just about anything. The Short Black Serrated Edge Knife is constructed with a 5 1/4 inch serrated edge and 1095 Carbon steel blade with a Kraton G handle. The butt cap and guard and made from 1095 Powdered Carbon steel. The KABAR Knife measures 9 1/4 inches overall.
