Description of Judo / Jiu-Jitsu / Aikido Uniform (Single Weave Elastic Waist)
This is a single weave, "bleached white" gi for Judo, Jiu-Jitsu and Aikido. This gi has a traditional "rice-grain" weave for the top and reinforced (quilted) knees for durability. It was specifically designed to withstand grappling during training and competition. Seams are reinforced - especially in the shoulders, lapel and sleeves - to ensure quality and durability.It is made of 100% cotton and includes pants with an elastic waist (with an internal drawstring) and a white belt of matching size. We also carry other belts you may be interested in (colored belts and BJJ / black sleeve styles).
Note we also carry a "traditional drawstring" waist as a separate item in our catalog. These are the same uniforms but with a different waist style. If we're out of one style for your size, you might check the other.
While this is an excellent gi for the money, it is intended for beginning or intermediate students. We offer much heavier gi's for more advanced students.
These uniforms DO RUN SMALL compared to "standard sizes". PLEASE be sure to check our size charts before you order. While we're happy to make an exchange if you end up with one that doesn't fit, we'd rather save you the hassle of doing a return.
