I still have yet to try the SMOKE lens out. I got the lens 2 days before estimated arrival. Lens got here before my mask LOL!! I'll edit/post a new review on this once I've used it plenty of times. It's making me rate so I did 4 stars because of how fast it came. From down south (i'm up in MN). And FYI to anyone who wants to know, I play airsoft. And Paintball masks work GREAT for airsoft, especially JT masks. They are comfortable enough, and if you need some extra foam for a mask, here's a tip: Just take some other foam and insert it where you need it (I don't care how you secure the foam). So yeah, it came FAST, have yet to use it, can't wait to.

So I got the mask, changed the lenses, and the Smoke lens darkens things enough, but not too much. It's great for the morning, afternoon, sunset, and depending on where you live, the night. But it's a pain to change the lens in the JT ELITE RADAR mask, but it's worth it on those REAL BRIGHT days. So yeah 5 stars. I highly recommend it if you usually play on a real sunny day.

Axiom, Spectra, and Elite lenses pass the American ASTM standard and the European EC Standard. But testing doesn't stop there. We shoot them, stomp them, hit them with 1/4" steel balls at 400fps (feet per second), run over them, and let the dog chew them. And that proves one thing, JT lenses meet an even higher standard - JT Standard. With a fog-resistant coated thermal inner lens that can be cleaned with a JT micro fiber cloth, the standard has been lifted even higher to include pure optical style. From our Gradient lenses to our Prizm thermals, you will not find a better lens with a higher standard of safety anywhere!Keep your opponents clearly in view even in less than ideal weather conditions with this replacement lens for JTUSA Elite mask systems with thermal protection. It offers high-performance fog-resistant protection, and is recommended for extreme weather conditions where heavy fogging can be a factor. It's available in clear (good for dusk and night matches), yellow and amber tints (good for low-light conditions to increase contrast for enhanced visibility), and a smoke tint (the best choice for bright sunlit days, especially in open areas). It also comes in chrome, perfect for psyching out your opponents.
If you find even the smallest crack on your paintball mask lens, you should replace it immediately. For safety sake, you should replace the lens at least once a year, even if it seems fine.
