Description of Israeli Civilian Gas Mask w/ Nato Filter
This is the gas mask issued to Israeli civilians when threatened with chemical attack by Saddam's Iraq. It has full NBC (neuclear, biological, chemical) protection, and comes with one sealed filter. Mask is new, unissued cond. and has hydration port (comes with drinking straw but not canteen cap) Also good to have around for protection against smoke, paint spray, grinding dust, etc. These are the same masks that some were selling for $200-300 after 9/11. Note; U.S. sales only, no export. The gas mask came very quickly and is made to the highest of quality. Though I'm no expert when it comes to the specifics behind protection requirements and so forth in regards to gas masks, I do have some bearing as to the quality of this piece. If I were you do some research online to fine what you are really looking for in a mask. These sorts of masks are made for escape from toxic environments, not for prolonged use. Though, I haven't tested it completely as of yet, it has held up quite nice so far.
A few cons, the eye holes are quite small, though I'm used to the Military Israeli Issue, so it's not a big deal. The other con is that for a bigger gentleman like myself, the fit is relatively small. The gas mask covers all the important areas of my face, however it clearly wasn't made for an almost 400 lbs man.
All in all it's a great product, and if it comes down to it, it also makes a wonderful photo-prop.

This is one hell of a mask, I mean the price blew my mind and I really expected a borderline alright kinda mask but it really is waaaay better than it seems to look online, the feel, everything about it is awesome, I love the rubber and the easy straps round the head which is a really cool feature, I didn't expect it to come with a drinking tube but it did and it makes this product beyond phenomenal, it is simple to use and I didn't even read the manuel it is an extremely easy piece to figure out, I've gotten it for whatever, halloween mainly which is far beyond a good idea!! so if you're thinking about it, go for it, it's packaging is amazing and trash is easy to take off, it almost felt like I've gotten my money's worth plus more!!! Get it, it is a great piece for filmmaking, gags, pranks, or if your like me and collect cool masks, it is a must have for anyone who ever wanted a gas maskCustomer Review: Good quality and awesome mask!

Purchased this as part of a costume for an upcoming project. It's very good quality, and when attached correctly, will definitely keep your face airtight. You'll get exactly what's shown. The straps are rubber and they are sturdy.
One reviewer mentioned there's no instructions, however, anyone who has adjusted a strap can figure this out. You basically loosen the 4 straps and put it over your head. Then pull the loose ends of the straps to tighten as needed. Not rocket science here.
Also comes with a rugged filter. The container is a solidly built, perhaps a tin material. It doesn't look like the filters itself are removable.

I just received this gas mask because me and a couple of my friends are shooting a movie at my school anyway i needed an inexpensive prop which would be this Israeli gas mask. when you get it the filter is completely sealed and everything is brand new. I quickly opened the filter and tried everything on. The continuously inhaling and exhaling came up to having a light headed fell. You might want to put it onfor 15 minutes at a time Intel you get used to it. Smells funny with the filter going. Includes a whole instruction handbook and a real working drinking tube. This thing is wonderful! it is very comfortable, and it separates your mouth from your eyes so the lenses don't fog up. Not heavy on the head at all, and it has great visibility! After awhile you forget it is on.
Very easy to breath in.
Would highly recommend.
btw it has a canteen connector for water intake on one side and comes with the tube.
