Description of Ironman Gravity 4000 Inversion TableThe IronMan Gravity 4000 Inversion Table is built with a durable extra wide tubular steel frame with a scratch resistant powder coated finish. It has a Memory foam vinyl covered backrest with a removable lumbar pillow for a comfortable head and lower back. It has tough rubber non-skid floor stabilizers that provide stability when inverting. Extra long safety handles provide easy return to the upright position and vinyl safety covers are added for safety. The ergonomically molded ankle holders provide comfort and security. When not in use the Gravity 4000 can be folded for stroage. Whether you want to reduce back stress or fatigue or stimulate your blood circulation, the Ironman Gravity 4000 inversion table makes a great household accessory. The inversion table contributes to your body's overall health by optimizing lumbar traction, thereby relieving pressure on your vertebrae discs and ligaments. And when your back starts to relax, the rest of your body follows. The table can also help with such areas as increasing body flexibility for improved athletic performance, reducing the effects of aging due to gravity, and relieving lower backaches due to sitting or standing. The Gravity 4000 boasts a durable tubular steel frame, a scratch-resistant powder-coated finish, and a memory-foam-vinyl-covered backrest with a removable lumbar pillow. More importantly, the inversion system is a breeze to use: once you rest your body against the nylon backrest and slip your feet into the ergonomically molded ankle cushions, simply reach your arms over your head. As your arms go up, your body gradually inverts up to 90 degrees. The only inputs are your energy and gravity itself. Users will also appreciate the tough rubber non-skid floor stabilizers, which keep the table stable while you invert, and the extra-long safety handles, which provide an easy return to an upright position. Other details include a height-adjustable frame up to 6 feet 6 inches; support for up to 350 pounds; vinyl safety side covers to protect hands and fingers; three starting inversion angles; and a patented, palm-activated adjusting ratchet ankle locking system. The Gravity 4000, which folds into a compact footprint for easy storage, measures 26 by 65 by 49 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 75 pounds. Sports reviews of Ironman Gravity 4000 Inversion TableCustomer Review: Very Pleased With Purchase Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I purchased the Ironman Gravity 4000 Inversion Table because of the reviews that I had read about the quality of construction and overall satisfaction rating. The item arrived undamaged and was very easy to assemble. It took about 30 to 45 minutes to assemble. Very high quality and sturdy.
I have a degenerative disc disorder, and my problems are very specific to the L4/L5 area. In fact, what brought me to finally make the purchase was the aggravation of a pinched nerve in my back making it very difficult to stand, much less walk for about one week. Once the pain was nearly gone, I started using the inversion table.
Started out slowly, but have built up to fully inverted in about 2 weeks.
I don't know if it is coincidental, but I have not had back problems since. When fully inverted, ab crunches can be done further strengthening the core muscles, and 5 to 10 minutes a day is normally all it has taken to maintain a pain free back.
I would definitely recommend the product to others.
Customer Review: Quality piece of equipment Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
(I am reviewing this based off the feedback I got from the recipient. It was shipped across country, and I have had no personal hands-on time with the product myself)
I purchased this for my father for Father's Day, after hearing he was suffering from some lingering lower back pain. He was able to assemble it in a reasonable amount of time, and commented on how sturdy the construction was and how comfortable the ankle clamps and memory foam backrest were. There was no creaking or grinding on operation, and everything moved perfectly smoothly. He also mentioned that he could feel positive results, even at a slight incline. We are awaiting word from a doctor before attempting a full test run, as the machine is not suggested for those on blood thinners, with high blood pressure, or with a history of heart troubles. If used as directed (for 5 to 10 minutes in the morning and at night), we're pretty sure there won't be any complications. Overall, I'm told that it exceeded all expectations.
Customer Review: Inversion Table...Impressive Table! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
As soon as I picked up the first part to assemble, I knew this was a quality product. Took about 20 minutes to put together after about a solid 10 minute read of the well-written instructions. This table has sustenance; it gives you confidence that it will take great care of you. The ankle brackets say, "I'm here to hold you!". But don't go head over heels in love with this device the first day. Read the directions. Gradually increase your use, in 30-60 seconds increments over a 2-3 week period. I'm at about 160 degree tilt after 4 weeks of use. And don't just lay there ... although laying there is relaxing. Do arm exercises or rythmic motions as it suggests. I guess that keeps the blood circulating and reduces any head pressure. Like ice cream, you don't eat the whole ball at once (brain freeze!). Like fine wine, sip and enjoy. This is a great machine, designed to last and improve your condition and give you relief. Each day my back feels improved. But easy does it, you'll enjoy it more.
Customer Review: Money Well Spent Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I've had spinal disc surgery (L4-L5), and I broke my back in '07 after falling off a 12 foot ladder. Although I don't suffer residual pain from these experiences, I definitely qualify as someone with a "bad back." I've seen inversion tables advertised and have always been skeptical as to whether or not they actually help. I finally bit the bullet and purchased this Ironman 4000 - and I'm glad I did. There is definitely "some assembly required." But, it's not rocket-science. The product is heavy-duty (the box was 80+ lbs.) & extremely well made. The first time I "inverted" it was a little weird. (It's been a few decades since I hung upside down on a swing-set.) However, the 2nd time was great. Bottom line: the product works. It decompresses the spine, helping re-align everything. Not only do I love it, my wife & children love it as well. The action is smooth & quiet. GREAT product. Extremely well made. Comfortable. It does what it says it will do. Money well spent.
Customer Review: Paradigm & Ironman 4000 Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I purchased the Ironman 4000 after much research. I suffered with back problems for over 40 years. The inversion table was like a miracle for me. I told some of the doctors I see and 2 of them got the info from me and purchased the table for thereself. I no sooner ordered the Ironman 4000 and it there, in good shape with all parts and was easy to put together. After I had the table about 2 months one of our young cats chewed the rubber foot holds, all 4 of them (this did not effect the function just the looks). I got her to stop with some red pepper. I looked at my paperwork and noticed that the table came from Paradigm. My wife called Paradigm to see if we could by replacments. They found humor in the cats actions. Paradigm sent me four new replacements at no cost. Paradigm is a real stand up company to deal with. There prices are the best and they have a thing called service that has been forgotten by many.
Ironman 4000 and Paradigm are Top Shelf.
