The IronMan Gravity 4000 Inversion Table is built with a durable extra wide tubular steel frame with a scratch resistant powder coated finish. It has a Memory foam vinyl covered backrest with a removable lumbar pillow for a comfortable head and lower back. It has tough rubber non-skid floor stabilizers that provide stability when inverting. Extra long safety handles provide easy return to the upright position and vinyl safety covers are added for safety. The ergonomically molded ankle holders provide comfort and security. Plus: This is a big sturdy table. Very well built.
Plus & Minus: The Iron man Service department was very helpful, sending me a new plastic cap, which had broken in shipping, so I didn't have to send the heavy table back to Amazon for exchange. I can't say the plastic piece wasn't built well, because the packing material inside the box was torn up, as if someone had dropped the box on the flat back, not damaging the outside of the box, but tearing up the inside). Manufacturer resolved the problem to my complete satisfaction.
Minus: It is a big heavy table, don't plan on moving it, takes a lot of effort to fold the table up. (almost a half hour).
Hints: Use your height as a starting point for the table length adjustment, (not the final setting). If you are top heavy, make the table longer, so your center of gravity is at the pivot point. If you are bottom heavy, make the table shorter, so it is easier to get inverted. Seems like it is made to be used with shoes, I wrapped a towel around the foot rest to make it more comfortable barefooted.

I used this table at my brothers home a few times while visiting and noticed something in the spin like it was doing some good. I kind of thought it was a silly thing to do and some toy how can this help you. WELL I ended up buying one and the results are unbelievable. I use to have neck pains and pinching in my shoulder blades and even migraines. I dont get any of these any more and have had this unit for some time. I started off using it only a few seconds to get use to being upside down. Now I am on this several times and day for up to 5 minutes. If I feel a migraine coming on I get on this throughout the day and goes away and that has never happened to me before. All the neck and should blade pains are non existent. I am a believer and I did the research and this is the best for the price. I think this one has the best foot holder of others units and very comfortable. My wife is very thin and she uses it no problem also and it help her should and neck pains which in the past took 3 days to work its way out. Now with her using this table that day is mostly gone all the pain.

I researched several vendors before deciding on this particular model based on the reviews, the most important factor being safety. I was not disappointed when it arrived -- this is a solid piece of engineering and workmanship! It was well made and heavy-duty and I felt safety at all times, even though I was a little unsure and wobbly at the beginning. Granted that it is rather cumbersome to fold and put away in a flash, I did not need that convenience as I have an extra bedroom.
It took me approx. an hour to assembly the table. It was at this point that I realized that one small piece was missing. I emailed the customer service dept. of Paradigm and received a favorable response the same day. Within the same week, I received a replacement part via FedEx. Not only did they send the small ring that was missing, they actually sent the entire arm that the ring was supposed to be inserted into!
I am thrilled with this table and especially thrilled with the after-sales service of Paradigm and will not hesitate to buy their products in future!
Customer Review: 45 minutes to assemble/good value/works for sciatica&back pain

Sciatica and compressed herniated discs L4/L5 that cause back/hip pain and leg & foot numbness, are relieved by 1-2 minutes on the inversion table nightly or as needed. Have had chiropractic treatment, Vax D traction(5 weeks) and spinal cortisone. The Ironman Inversion Table is working well to maintain and give relief from long days at a desk and in a vehicle and weekend over exertion. Can feel back/dics get in line giving immediate relief. Over time back/sciatica is getting better. Does take up space and is not really easily moved. But that said it is very sturdy and secure for a 6 foot 215lb man. Nicely padded table and pillow is comfortable for stretching back. The only problem is that once when the foot latch mechanism was too snug around the ankles it locked in place and had to really work to free ankles. Just don't snug excessively tight. Also as others have said, adjust setting to a taller than your actual height for better control. Have not had problems with my high blood pressure, just go slow and use for short periods of time.Customer Review: Well built

After reading the reviews here on many models I've concluded that probably all models can do the job, but some are uncomfortable and/or flimsy. I needed one in the hurry to deal with a little back injury. I went to two stores, tried three different models/brands and they were all pretty tough on the ankles. Two of them cost more than this model. I've ordered the 4000 and while I was waiting for it to arrive I went back to one of the stores twice more just to relive the pain in my back and legs.
Then the real thing arrived (fast!!). It went together in a snap and works like a charm. No discomfort on the ankles or lower back at all. My back symptoms are gradually improving and the only thing limits my time spent on this table is the caution about the potential blood pressure buildup in the head. I don't know if that's a real danger for me or not, but better be safe than stupid, I guess. The ankle cuffs and the locking mechanism are far superior to anything I've seen. Great product, I'm glad I've bought it.
