Description of Ironman Gravity 1000 Inversion TableThe IronmanŽ Endurance 100 inversion table is built with a strong steel frame and scratch-resistant powder-coated finish. It has a soft, foam-covered backrest for comfort when inverting, and extra-long safety handles provide easy return to the upright position. Whether you want to reduce back stress or fatigue or stimulate your blood circulation, the Ironman Gravity 1000 inversion table makes a great household accessory. The inversion table contributes to your body's overall health by optimizing lumbar traction, thereby relieving pressure on your vertebrae discs and ligaments. And when your back starts to relax, the rest of your body follows. The table can also help with such areas as increasing body flexibility for improved athletic performance, reducing the effects of aging due to gravity, and relieving lower backaches due to sitting or standing. The Gravity 1000 boasts a durable tubular steel frame with a scratch-resistant powder-coated finish. The backrest, meanwhile, is made of a tough nylon material that's extremely durable yet still comfortable when the table is in use. Most importantly, the inversion system is a breeze to use: once you rest your body against the nylon backrest and slip your feet into the ergonomically molded ankle cushions, simply reach your arms over your head. As your arms go up, your body gradually inverts up to 90 degrees. The only inputs are your energy and gravity itself. Users will also appreciate the tough rubber non-skid floor stabilizers, which keep the table stable while you invert, and the extra-long safety handles, which provide an easy return to an upright position. Other details include a height-adjustable frame up to 6 feet 6 inches; support for up to 300 pounds; vinyl safety side covers to protect hands and fingers; and a durable spring-loaded ankle locking system. The Gravity 1000, which folds into a compact footprint for easy storage, measures 25 by 62 by 49 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 46 pounds. Sports reviews of Ironman Gravity 1000 Inversion TableCustomer Review: Feeling SO much better! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
In May 2002, I had surgery to remove what my surgeon later told me were, "three big pieces of L5" from my back. I've been in pain since then, but I've managed to keep it tolerable via various meds. This table has allowed me to cut down on my anti-inflammatory drug by 50% after the first 5 days or so. I hang upside down for about 4-5 mins. in the morning and after work, and it has done SO much for me. For some reason, you don't feel like the blood is rushing to your head and feel sickly. I don't understanding it, but really, I feel great! I ride horses and haven't been able to do so comfortably in years and have had to mostly keep at a walk. I rode yesterday for over an hour, at a nice pace, and today I felt great. This table is giving me back hope of movement and activity again! Worth every penny.
Customer Review: Why spend more. Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I really don't have any ideas to improve this product. On other inversion tables people say they have to use shoes because they are hard on your feet. This table has a little different design to hold you in. I don't use shoes. As most people know most of your weight is pulling on your feet and there is some real minnor pain from that, my biggest thing is having my feet falling asleep. I normally use it for 20 mins so I don't think there is a way of getting around that. At 190 pounds the table is pretty solid. Easy to put together. One more great thing. I got free shipping from amazon. I think it took a little over a week to get. I haven't been using my table enough yet to say the inverion tables are the best thing in the world to be back pain free but this table is the best value on amazon.
Customer Review: An awesome deal! Look no further! Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
Like most folks out there, I did a lot of reading about inversion tables and ended up more confused with the more I read. It's easy to get caught up in thinking that if it's not the most expensive it can't be a quality item. Well, in this case that train of thought is absolutely wrong. This table is awesome! I can't believe the quality and comfort for the price. I would have guessed that this table would have cost $250+... not only $150! Assembly is easy and all necessary tools are provided. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and have experienced relief in my lower back pain. Woohoo! I look forward to using it as much as I can which is typically twice a day.
Save yourself a bunch of time and headaches and buy this table...now. There is nothing about it that I am unhappy with.
Customer Review: Ironman Gravity 1000 Inversion Table Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I had reservations about this item. I had heard such great things about them. Now, I am sold, I will always have one of these.
It was a little confusing getting it put together, but man, I am so glad I did this. I use it three to five times daily for about
five to ten minutes each time and it has made a huge difference. My back and hip joints feel so much better when I am using this.
I love it. I have friend who come over just to use it too. I think once you begin using one of these, you become very comfortable and addicted to certain muscles getting a good stretch that even Yoga can't seem to do. I would recommend this to anyone who can handle being inverted because it does help all those back muscles that don't normally get the stretches they need. It feels so good.
Customer Review: Great product! Back feels immediately better after use. Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I've had this thing for about a week now, using it for 5-10 minutes in the morning and evening. Even though it doesn't "cure" my back pains, the pain does go away for awhile after use.
It took me a couple of days to relax enough to let my spine decompress properly, but once I did, I started really enjoying hanging upside-down. Wearing socks and shoes is highly recommended when using this device, the ankle "straps" aren't the most comfortable, but with a little more padding from socks and shoes, it was hardly noticeable.
It also takes up a lot of space and doesn't really "fold up" so you can slide it under a bed. But since I've been using it twice a day, there's no point in storing it.
Definitely worth the money if you have constant back pains.
