Customer Review: Finally..... RELIEF!!!

After many hours spent reviewing various other models I decided on the Ironman1000. After stopping a truck from hitting my car with my body 3 years ago I've had numerous hip/back problems including a broken L3. I have not been the same since and the lower back/hip pain has been unbearable since. Numerous doctors, chiropractors, homeopaths have not been able to help. Because of the Ironman 1000 I now have relief. I had used an inversion table at the gym and loved it (2 years ago). Mine arrived Monday and it took my husband about 30 min. to put it together. He said the only thing that could be changed were to have the parts labeled. I read others comments on the foot holds being uncomfortable but I wear shoes and socks and I'm fine and can relax. I do this in the morning and before I go to bed a few min. . First time I haven't had to sleep with a heating pad (on high) in a LONG LONG time. I feel better after only a few days of being stretched and the nerves being unpinched. I'll do an update later on down the road. So far so good! Thanks Ironman1000!Customer Review: EXCELLENT value!

I have been wanting an inversion table ever since experiencing some back pain around 20 years ago and seeing one in a SkyMall catalog on a flight. Since that time I have had recurring bouts of sciatica which, as anyone who has ever experienced it knows, can be excruciating. So I thought back to the inversion table, and how the stretching and weight-shifting it induces might be just what could help.
Christmas 2010: my wife bought the Ironman 1000 for me via Amazon, and all I can say is, "WOW"! This is exactly what I needed, and for the money, the model is fantastic. Others have found the ankle restraints to be uncomfortable, but I really don't notice it. I certainly do notice the pops in my lower back muscles and vertebrae when I invert on this very sturdy table, and I use it about every other day. I cannot even describe how well worth it is to invest in one of these, and I know that other home models cost up to 4-5 times as much. I definitely don't see the need! Oh, and it took all of about a half-hour to set up.

I bought this product based on the recommendation of the reviews posted on Amazon. My product arrived today. I am very pleased. Although this is the less expensive unit it is all that I want and more. I do not see why I would want to spend more money when this product is more than adequate.
The materials and quality are top-notch. I found assembly to be a snap and I'm not usually a mechanical type person.
I was recently diagnosed with multiple bugling discs and S1 nerve compression. I am currently in physical therapy without much relief. I have not yet experienced the benefits of this device as I just received it today. My back is so tight that I did not experience much movement while hanging upside down for 5 minutes.
I plan on using it daily 2-3 times per day. I will post in the near future any progress I have.
I did not experience the foot discomfort as some have mentioned. I wore shoes and my feet stayed comfortably secure. Good buy!!

I tried out a friends table before buying this one, I couldn't believe how great I felt after just 5 minutes. I came home and bought my own right away. I have degenerative disk disease at L4 and L5 and I am only 31! I visit a chiropractor 3 times a week, do yoga, walk and swim and this is table provides more relief than all those combined. Yes the leg pads hurt but for me a little leg pain is better than a whole lot of back pain. I have been wearing my winter boots and that has helped a lot (I tried ski boots but they were too big for the leg pads). I was glad I had seen a table before because when it shows up there are a lot of pieces and I was worried I would never be able to assemble it but it only took be about an hour. Over all I am very happy, I use it 3 times a day for about 5 minutes and I feel like a new woman.
Update- I am used to the table now and I can use it barefoot with no pain in my feet, ankles or shins!

I was recommended an inversion table by my chiropractor. Was a bit nervous about it at first, thinking I would break my neck, but soon learned to trust it and let it do it's thing. Like most people in our culture, I have the usual stresses on my back-- bucket seats in the car, sitting at a desk most of the day, heavy lifting. This helped to get my spine back to where it should be and had actually saved me money, since I am not going to the chiropractor every other week, instead of every week.
Like I said, I was a bit nervous about getting on this for the first time. Quality was good though, so I eased into it, going back just a little at a time, until I had worked up to handing totally upside down. A couple of years later, this machine is still going strong and hasn't caused me one problem at all.
If you are having ANY lower back issues, you owe it to yourself to give this thing a try. It is amazing!
