Made of dual chamber construction: the lower chamber functions as the box spring form on a traditional bed, providing extra firmness and support. The upper chamber functions as a mattress. Includes an A/C 120 Volt Electric pump, built-in to the mattress. Quickly and easily inflate both chambers with the touch of a switch. Maybe its just a matter of luck....or maybe some people just like to complain about everything...if it's not one thing its the other. I say...just take it as it is for what it is!
This bed is great....I was purchased for our 10 yrs old daughter....she loves it...she likes her mattress softer so the fact that it is loosing air by nature its a plus in our case...but do not get me wrong....the amount of air loss is minimal...we are putting in 30 seconds worth of air every 2-3 weeks....that's all!
I guess it is not the best choice to use as a permanent choice for 2 adults or even 2 children as, again by nature the mattress tends to "sag" in the middle...but again, some ppl might just like this "feature"
I got to tell you...i have a really bad back and this bed is great for me...i slept in it few times and i woke up without back pains and aches which i cannot say about our EXPENSIVE regular mattress...
Not to mention the fact that moving this bed around especially in a tight space it's a cinch...

I ordered this Raised Queen Air Mattress through Amazon.com on 07/30/2008 because I had family members visiting for two week, and wanted to make them as comfortable as possible. I had never owned or used an air mattress before so I was really curious to see how it would perform.
The built-in electric AC pump took about four minutes to get the mattress to the proper firmness that I wanted. The first thing that came to my attention when it was first inflated was the look and feel of quality that I experienced. Now it's been over a month since I pumped it up, and laid it out and it remains as firm as it was on the first night. This is a really quality product. I could see myself sleeping on it for a few nights and be very comfortable. The beauty is that in the next few days when I get around to it, I will deflate it and store it away in my addict for future use. This is a great back-up, two-person sleeper.
I would certainly recommend this product to anyone looking for an air mattress at a great price.

I have now purchased three of these mattresses and they sleep like a charm. They sleep so well that I used one for several months, while not at home, as my primary bed. I have a sleep comfort (that I love and adore) but when I am not at home this baby does the trick and is so easy to adjust it's firmness. You may need to turn the pump on for a few seconds to adjust firmness each night but, all-in-all, you can not beat how this thing sleeps vs. the price. It is a keeper. Just make sure you clean the floor well where ever you plan to sleep on the mattress; it will help to keep from puncturing it. I originally used it for guests and did not clean the floor well and punctured it one time. It comes with a patch. I patched it up and have never had an issue with it since. Everyone that has slept on it has gave me rave reviews of their nights sleep. I use the last two I purchased for my two nephews. They now use these mattresses as full time beds, and love them. I purchased the Intex Raised Downy Queen Airbed with Built-in Electric Pump Intex Raised Downy Queen Airbed with Built-in Electric Pump through Amazon.com in preparation for out of town guests. I had searched the stores and on-line for similar product and not only found a better deal on Amazon but I was able to get a top of the line model for my cousin whom I hadn't seen in years. It was delivered within a few days and I cannot believe how simple and how quickly it inflated. It is the perfect height for older guests who cannot stoop down for those other airbeds (camping). It is also handsome looking in the room as if it were a piece of furniture. My cousin said it is very comfortable. In fact I have kept it inflated in the spare room for "naps"! It is a good find and perfect for guests or impromptu visitors (college students.... Christmas time etc!) Plus the price4 on Amazon was better than Walmart!!Customer Review: Excellent Guest Bed!

This bed is great for a guest room as you can deflate and use room for other things when you do not have guests, leave inflated for the guest room look, or use it anywhere in the house you need to sleep your guests. Easy to inflate/deflate/adjust air. Great for guests who would otherwise not be able to sleep on a small air mattress or sofabed, since it is much more comfortable and higher up so it is easy to get on/off versus floor/lower beds. Be sure that you put some kind of padding or blanket over the mattress if located in a cooler room of your house because otherwise guest will be cold (air in mattress stays at room temperature) for some room just a mattress pad will work where others may need a foam topper or blanket. Mine is located downstairs in basement so it was quite cool for my mother and we gave her a thick blanket which she used to insulate her from the mattress. Not too big of a deal though, especially for the excellent price of this air mattress, the quality and convenience.
