I am new to Kayaking so I can't provide you with an excellent comparison review but for a starter into the kayaking world, I really enjoy using this Kayak paddle. I chose this paddle for the price since I didn't want to break the bank but it has definitely proven to be a nice sturdy quality paddle. I can't say how this paddle compares to a $200 paddle but for the amount of time I used it, I have enjoyed it.
The only thing that people might complain about is that this paddle comes in at 240cm while it seems the average or what people prefer is 220cm for a paddle so this might be a little lengthy but I don't find an issue with it at all. I feel it gives me more back bone in my strokes. I don't think it is too heavy either but mind me that this is the only paddle that I have used but it feels nice, went through the water nicely and I liked that they could break down into two separate oars if you got stranded or wanted to paddle with one ore.
At $14.99, This Paddle seems to be an excellent choice for beginners or even advanced users or recreational boaters who want to have a spare paddle for safety reasons. In the future when I break out into Kayaking I may go look at some more expensive paddles just to see how they compare but for now, this paddle has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!
