Sports reviews of Intex 110 - 120 Volt AC Quick-fill Electric PumpCustomer Review: Air pump Sport shop rating: 2 Stars
Works OK but the attachments don't stay on, you have to try and hold them on and at the same time hold them in the air hole of the item you are blowing up. Not an easy task and I speak from experience.
Customer Review: Worst air pump on the market Sport shop rating: 1 Stars
I bought this pump to inflate a 65cm exercise ball. The motor screams so loud that I had to wear ear protectors. The nozzles slip off the tubing as there is no way to secure them to it (Coleman has a better design and electric pump.) Finally, it was not powerful enough to get the ball to maximum size. It just keeps working and working. I finally threw it in the trash and bought a two way 2 liter hand pump that works perfectly with little effort. You don't need electrics to do this type of inflation. Stay away from this manufacturer and its low quality products.
Customer Review: Loud!! Ear Piercing!! Ouch!!! Sport shop rating: 1 Stars
We chased all the kids away as soon as we turned on this pump. Our ears were literally vibrating so we just gave up. Plus, the narrow hose meant for blowing up small pools, beach balls, jumpers, does not work. We have to queeze the neck of our inflatable toy's nozzle to blow in the air (this prevents air from coming out after you've nusted your lungs blowing it in) but the the narrowest hose on the air pump has a hook on it which plugs the opening that the squeezing creates. We blew up our inflatables by mouth- less traumatic for everyone.
Customer Review: Not recommended! Sport shop rating: 1 Stars
This product seemed ok when it came out of the box. Then I tried to use it.... It's sooooooo loud you'll want ear plugs. It's very slow! And the attachments don't stay attached so you have to sit there and hold the attachment on so it can fill properly. That is very frustrating! Also, now that I came back to the page I bought it from to write a review, I see that I didn't get the hose attachment it shows in the picture. Which would have been nice to have. Spend a little extra for a better quality product.
Customer Review: Worst thing I've ever bought Sport shop rating: 1 Stars
This thing is what four-lettered words were made for. This has to be the worst piece of crap ever produced. It's noisy, slow and battery runs out in no time. It took us 4 days to partially inflate our kids inflatable pool (5 feet diameter). Could not inflate it completeley. Once starting pumping, battery runs out in about 15 min.
How about some screw mechanism for the nozzles? How about letting us run it directly on power outlet power? Shame on you Intex.
