My son has now outgrown this swim trainer but we were very happy with it while it fit! It's so stable in the water & he never once tipped over so he felt so comfortable in the pool. It was a little hard to get on but that just meant it wasn't going to slip off in the water. The air valve is like a bicycle tire so it takes a little more effort to fill it with air but again, that's part of what makes this item so sturdy. I think we used this from about 2-3.5 years & my son is a hefty kid!Customer Review: Most fun in the water

My 10 month old grandson, a total water-bug, is loving the freedom he has in this swimmer. He can flip on his back to float and can actually splash and kick enough to move himself in the water. We don't leave him unnatended and yet he has the freedom to "swim" like the rest of us. Good job and don't quit making these. Oh, I also used these for my 3 kids, now grown and for my daycare at my house. It's a great product.

So far for me it's the only product which floats and holds my toddler on the water. The bottom piece of cloth sometimes gets detached though, so it's better to sew it by hand. If you don't have a pump, you'll have to take it somewhere to get it blown (pump does not come with it). I highly recommend this product. It has made my toddler so confident in the water. He is 18 months old and has been using it about a month. He lays back in the water with it on, puts his face in, blows bubbles, and jumps into the water (going under briefly) by himself. It's wonderful.Customer Review: swim trainer

We bought this for our 18 month old. I was a little worried because she is very small for her age but the swim trainer worked great. It was a little big but didn't seem to matter once in the water. It took her about a day to figure it out but once she did she was swimming everywhere.
