I purchased these belts for my 7 and 9 year olds. We go swimming a lot at the lake. They are perfect for them, added safety without the bulk of a life jacket. However, the foam blocks are a bit bulkier than a regular ski belt, but they are also more bouyant. They are tearing a bit where the belt runs through them, but for the price I would definitely purchase these again!Customer Review: Good way to learn treading

My 4 year old had to put some muscle into her treading, which I thought was a great way to learn. Unfortunately she is so use to her life jacket that this makes her a little nervous. I definitely would have preferred to have started her with this belt. It makes the kids focus and want to swim.
